Red Barn Events

When and how did you start?

We opened in October of 2014. Owner of 5 Star Rental built it because he wanted to open a venue.

How did you initially get into the wedding industry?

Started with the rental business which carried over into the wedding venue industry.

What is something about each your business that no one else would probably know?

We are building our new beautiful show room that we will be moving into in Fall, 2018. It’s going to be so amazing; we are going to host parties and events there!!!

What is your favorite part of owning and running your business? Least favorite?

Favorite part of managing is working with our amazing, precious staff every day.

Least favorite is the heat!! We do so much outdoors and the heat is daunting!

What is your most unique quality that sets you apart from the competition?

Our sister company is 5 Star Rental, so we can offer so much to our clients. We can be a 1 stop shop.

What are your goals, hopes and dreams for the future of your business?

To continue to be a light in our community as well as serve the wonderful clients that come to us. We always are wanting to learn and grow as a company.

What is the best part about the Denton Bridal Show, for your business?

We love meeting brides who are so excited about this wedding planning journey. We also enjoy seeing so many of our fellow vendor friends.

Tell us about your favorite wedding so far?

There are so many, but our favorites have to be the owner’s kids that both got married at Red Barn Events 3 months apart!! WHEW!!! They were both so different and we experimented with some new set up’s and ideas. It was super fun to think out of the box!

What is the best moment during a typical wedding day, in your experience?

The very moment the bride walks down the aisle. I still get choked up!

If you had to own 500 lbs of one thing (and it can’t be jewels or gold) what would it be? Lipstick

Mountains or Beach? Love them both, but I’d have to say beach.

Favorite Season? Fall

Describe your style in two words? Southern Chic

Dream travel destination? Greece
