Premiere Vendor Styled Shoot
We are so grateful for our Premiere Vendors and love to show them off! Every year we strive to find new ways we can help promote their businesses. This year we decided to honor these vendors with a special styled photo shoot that visually showcases their uniqueness. And guess what? IT WAS THE MOST FUN EVER!

Planning for this shoot was a bit wild. If we are honest, it’s hard enough to get the Denton Bridal Show team in one place for a work day, let alone coordinate nine vendors and two models. But we totally pulled it off and our prayers for no more rain were answered.
We decided in advance that LeeAnn, Widyn Photography, would take the photos, but we also asked, Jordan, at J. Stark Videography to come out and join us by creating a Premiere Vendor highlight video, which we cannot wait to share! We love his work and have to say he is trooper for following around three wacky women trying to execute a vision.
The day was beautiful as we arrived at Barnett Estates where Picture This DFW had the vintage photobooth camper waiting for us. If you haven’t seen that little camper in person make an effort, because it is adorable. Brides, if you are worried about guests warming up at your wedding this is an excellent way to break the ice and get them laughing and moving.
Tawny, the owner, also had the most amazing little handheld mirror that guests can actually carry around at the reception taking videos that can be watched later by the bride and groom. 2018 is so much fun! The props had us goofing so much we had to work to get our straight faces back for the more serious photos at the Barnett Estates venue.
Our models,Moraima and Jaren, were such great sports and they are totally in love with each other ya’ll, which made for an easy photo session. Barnett Estates made it easy too. We chose to feature their outdoor ceremony space and the owner, Jana, greeted us with a smile. The florals were gorgeous and the barrels flanking the aisle took our breath away. As we have stated before this venue is truly a one stop shop offering catering, floral design, customized cakes, bar service, fireworks, and more.
We would have stayed forever, but there was more work to be done.
So, after taking what seemed like our hearts fill of pictures, we loaded up and headed East in search of Whispering Oaks Wedding Venue. This venue is tucked away out by Lake Ray Roberts and it truly has that country feel. Upon parking there are several beautifully paved paths winding through the woods that take you to your destination. Whether it be the ceremony space or the barn you will feel like you are hiking through a forest wonderland.
We selected to feature their barn for this photo shoot. The 5,000 Square ft. cedar barn is complete with a balcony, kitchen, and patio area with a firepit. There is certainly no shortage of space and their owner, Jessica, attends each wedding to personally see that the event goes smoothly.
Upon arriving at Whispering Oaks, our friends, Rick and Rosie of Mobile DJ Services were waiting for us with their incredible set up. If you are looking to ramp up your reception, look no further. This duo provides hospitality, fun, and entertainment. They have you in mind with a sleek, white DJ booth set-up that will blend right in with your décor. They also offer a top of the line retro, touch-screen photobooth mirror that will wow your guests! Not only did we have to pry our models away from it, but we couldn’t help but jump in a few photos ourselves. What truly made this set-up complete though was the red carpet and ropes. Who doesn’t want that kind of glam on their wedding day?
Our reception table was stunning, and we couldn’t get enough photos of it! The table, place settings, and décor were provided by 5 Star Rental. The rustic table and chairs were picturesque next to the Whispering Oaks barn. And just like every other one of our Premiere Vendors, 5 Star Rental’s reputation for hospitality and customer service proceeds them. They go above and beyond. All of our rentals for the shoot arrived promptly and the process of selecting our rentals prior to the show, with Sarah, one of their managers, was a breeze. 5 Star Rental can truly meet just about all your wedding needs be it outdoor tents, table, chairs, linens, you name it, they’ve probably got it!
This styled shoot was a dream and we really didn’t want it to end. So of course, we celebrated over a charcuterie sampler at Barley and Board. Denton is filled with amazing businesses, but we believe those that are part of the Denton Bridal Show are some of the best! Thank you to our premiere vendors for believing in us and being a huge part of making Denton Bridal Show happen.
And we can not forget to mention the two businesses that helped our model feel like her most beautiful self, Makeupbykristaann and hair by Kelsie Kelso. We can't thank you ladies enough for jumping on board and doing a spectacular job!
